Our Monuments Express Tour and our All Loops Tour stop right outside the Newseum! ! For those traveling by public transportation, The Archives/Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station on the Green and Yellow Lines is approximately two blocks away. The Gallery Place and Judiciary Square stations on the Red Line are also nearby.

How long should I expect to spend at Newseum?
Most visitors complete their visit in 2-3 hours, but feel free to move at your own pace!
May I take photographs inside the museum?
Flash photography is not permitted. You may take pictures for non-commercial purposes in most areas of the museum, unless expressly prohibited.

Can I bring my camera to take photographs in Newseum?
Yes, flash photography is allowed in most areas of the museum, except where expressly prohibited.

Can I eat or drink at Newseum?
While outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the attraction, Newseum features an eatery called The Food Section catered exclusively by Wolfgang Puck!

Is there a gift shop inside Newseum?
Yes, the Newseum Store is located on levels 1 and 2.

Can I visit Newseum at any time of day?
You can visit anytime within the museum’s hours of operation. Newseum is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Do I have to specify my date of travel?
No. When you start your order, you will have to choose the day you believe you are going to use the voucher. However, we do understand that plans change so you have one year from the date of purchase to redeem your voucher. After one year, it will expire.

How long do I have to use my tickets?
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase. You’ll have 4 consecutive days from the time you redeem the voucher to visit the museum.
