Tuesday, July 4th

 

Due to the 2017 July 4th celebrations being held in the nation’s Capital, there will be several road closures as well as street detours in downtown Washington D.C. on Tuesday July 4th . The streets around the capitol and monuments will be closed all day.

We will therefore be operating a modified Red/Yellow (an ORANGE) loop from 9am to 5pm. There will be NO Night Tours. The ORANGE route will leave from Union Station and head directly to the stops along the Yellow Loop.

The following stops will be open:
1,5,6,7,20,21,22,23,23,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32

The following stops will be closed:
2,3,4,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39

For customers needing to reach the National Harbor Ferry Cruise, a bus will be departing from Union Station at 11:30AM and 12:00PM bringing passengers directly to the pier.

We hope that these road closures do not inconvenience greatly. Unfortunately CitySights DC has no control over these road closures. We will be doing our best to ensure that you can still explore Washington DC and enjoy your experience with City Sights DC.

 

BUSES WILL RETURN TO NORMAL SERVICE ON WEDNESDAY JULY 5th.
